His wife was Elizabeth Luce Printiss and together they had 6 children: We believe that Erastus lived in LaFayette New York (below Syracuse) before he moved to Pittsfield where he raised a family. The children are: 1. - Horace b1825/ m Eliza Ann Wilber Printiss (DAR) b1833 2. - Charles b1827/ m Mary Curtiss b1831 3. - George E b1829/ died at 8 years 4. - Henry b1832 / m Mary Lowell b1840 5. - Francis b1834/ died at 14 years 6. - George b1837/ died at birth It is thought that Joseph Prentice might have been Erastus's father: Joseph was born 1770/ 74 and died 1851. Joseph lived in Worthington, with two sons in 1790. It is considered that Erastus aged (teens) had left home and moved to LaFayette NY. Any information about this line would be greatly appreciated. . .
