  • Researching the parents of my G,G,Grandfather, Daniel E. Eddy. Daniel was Born in Monongalia Co. [W]V, August, 1828. He died in Mellin, Ritchie Co., WV, 1928. Family history records indicate Daniel's parents were David and Sarah (Surname Unknown), who immigrated to US, from Dublin, Ireland, but we cannot find anything that supports this. It would have to before 1828, because Daniel was born in Virginia, 1828. Any information would be appreaciated. Thanks

As a young man, John Eyanson Jr. worked for an uncle who owned a nail factory near Salem, NJ. The uncle may be, or be related to, a Thomas and Esther Eyanson who were sponsors at his sister Louise's 1765 baptism. Thomas might be an uncle or brother of John. The uncle might also be a brother of Elizabeth Premm, his mother.
